Airlines suspended Hajj operations for a week

Airlines suspended Hajj operations for a week, so Domestic and international airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines, have paused Hajj flight operations for a week due to a delay in the Ministry of Religious Affairs announcing specifics of Hajj charges.

The management stated that tickets could not be purchased until the information of Hajj expenses were released.

Booking will begin after the Ministry of Religious Affairs has provided specifics on Hajj expenses. The Ministry of Religious Affairs, on the other hand, has revealed the Hajj costs.

The Hajj operation will be performed from eight locations in Pakistan: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, Peshawar, and Quetta, according to PIA officials. According to them, a total of 297 Hajj flights will depart to Jeddah and Madinah.

Hajj Expenses

The Hajj will cost Rs. 860,000 for pilgrims from the northern region and Rs. 850,000 for pilgrims from the southern region, according to Minister for Religious Affairs Maulana Abdul Shakoor.

According to him, housing in Makkah will cost Rs. 112,000, while it will cost Rs. 38,000 in Madinah.

Under the government Hajj scheme, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has set out Rs800,000 for Hajj costs in Islamabad, Punjab, and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, while the amount for pilgrims from Sindh and Balochistan has been set at Rs791,000.
