According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony, Islamabad:
In three days, 3919 pilgrims reached Saudi Arabia through the Hajj flight operation. Today, on Wednesday, 1710 pilgrims will be transported to Madinah by 8 more Hajj flights. There will be four flights from Islamabad and one each from Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Multan.
On Thursday, 1330 more pilgrims will leave for the Holy Hijaz through 5 Hajj flights. The Hajj flight operation comprising 106 flights will continue till June 30. The accommodation has been arranged in Hajj camps for pilgrims coming from far-flung areas. Vaccines, tickets, visas, identity pendants, and passports are being provided from the Hajj camps.
Saudi Arabia has deployed Hajj staff at Makkah, Madinah, and Saudi airports. Hospitals and dispensaries were established in Mecca, Medina, and Jeddah under the Pakistan Hajj Medical Mission. Police, 1122, and civil servants are managing the accommodation, food, and transport as assistants.
The Department of Disappearances, Helpline, Haram Guides, Monitoring and Arrangements for Arrival and Departure to Madinah are the responsibility of the Religious Affairs Welfare Staff. The entire welfare staff deployed under the Ministry of Religious Affairs consists of government employees.
